Ingredients
8 oz. uncooked mostaccioli or penne pasta
1 cup shredded reduced-fat Monterey Jack cheese
1/2 cup finely chopped red or green bell pepper
1 or 2 jalapeño peppers, finely chopped
1/2 cup fat-free sour cream
1/2 cup fat-free milk
1 tsp. onion powder
3/4 tsp. ground cumin, divided
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup chopped plum tomatoes
1/2 cup Kretschmer® Original Toasted Wheat Germ
2 Tbsp. dry bread crumbs
2 Tbsp. stick margarine, melted
   

Heat oven to 350°F. Prepare pasta according to package directions; drain well. Lightly spray 8- or 9-inch square glass baking dish with cooking spray.

In medium bowl, combine cooked pasta, cheese and peppers; spoon into baking dish. In same bowl, combine sour cream, milk, onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon cumin and salt; mix well. Pour over pasta mixture. Spoon tomatoes evenly over top. In small bowl, combine wheat germ, bread crumbs, remaining 1/4 teaspoon cumin and margarine; sprinkle evenly over tomatoes.

Bake 30 minutes or until heated through.
